Lineups announced: Everton v United

Reds head coach Michael Carrick makes just the one change from our last outing, the 1-1 draw away to West Ham United just under a fortnight ago.

That comes in defence, where Leny Yoro replaces Lisandro Martinez, who is not involved in the matchday squad tonight.

It's a first change to the back four under Carrick, with Yoro named in the XI on the back of two massive defensive interventions before we scored our late equaliser at West Ham.

So, it's Senne Lammens in goal, in front of the four-man backline that Yoro joins Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw in.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo are set to continue what has been a successful partnership at the base of midfield in recent weeks, behind captain Bruno Fernandes, further up in the middle of the park.

Amad, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha make up an attack which we have seen plenty of fluid movement in, since Carrick was appointed.

The bench features two midfielders from the Academy, Tyler Fletcher and Jack Moorhouse. The latter - a 20-year-old midfielder - would be making his first-team debut if he is introduced.

David Moyes, meanwhile, opts for three alterations to his Everton side from their last outing, a 2-1 loss to Bournemouth on the same night United drew at West Ham.

Jake O'Brien picked up a red card in that game and drops out of the XI as a result, alongside Vitaliy Mykolenko and Tyrique George who are on the bench.

Reds Academy graduate Michael Keane, Tim Iroegbunam and Harrison Armstrong are the trio brought in.
