Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The Academy graduate has made 426 appearances for United since his senior debut against FC Midtjylland in 2016. He has since scored 138 goals and lifted five major trophies.

This season, Rashford has made 24 appearances and scored 7 goals.

His last appearance this season came in our 2-1 Europa League win against Viktoria Plzen in December; his latest goals came earlier that month with a brace in our 4-0 Premier League win against Everton.

The 27 year-old has 60 caps and 17 goals for England, having appeared in two European Championships and two World Cups for his country.
Join us in wishing Marcus well for the rest of the season.
His loan exit to Aston Villa came on the penultimate day of the men’s January transfer window, hours after United confirmed the signing of 20 year-old Danish defender Patrick Dorgu from Italian Serie A club Lecce.

On Saturday, United announced the arrival of 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.

Rashford’s exit follows the departure of Brazilian forward Antony on loan to La Liga side Real Betis earlier in the window.

Everyone at Manchester United wishes Marcus good luck for the rest of the season.
