Who was Man of the Match v Arsenal?

Three goals and three points in our Premier League assignment at Emirates Stadium on Sunday saw countless award-worthy performances from Michael Carrick's side.

Given Arsenal's standing in the league, it looked like it perhaps wasn't our day when an unfortunate deflection saw Lisandro Martinez turn the ball into his own next just shy of the half-hour mark.

Such a notion could not have been more wrong, however, after Bryan Mbeumo levelled the game less than 10 minutes later, with incredible long-range strikes from Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu and Matheus Cunha rendering a Mikel Merino's bundled goal in the 84th minute worthless.

But who did you vote as your Man of the Match from the momentous victory? Keep scrolling to find out...

Taking ___ per cent of the vote was our second goalscorer, Dorgu.

It's been an amazing few weeks for the Denmark international since being given greater license to attack in a more advanced role, with Sunday's strike the wideman's third goal in six Premier League games.

This one, at the Emirates, however, was perhaps the pick of the bunch, with our no.13 exchanging some smart passes with Bruno Fernandes, before seeing the ball sit up nicely for him to unleash a volleyed strike on David Raya's goal.

There could have been three of the Spanish gloveman between the sticks and there still would have been no keeping out the effort that struck the underside of the bar, before bouncing on the line and into the back of the net.

“Pat has been a big, big player for us over the last couple of games, in so many ways," Carrick said after the game. "Obviously, attacking wise, he's scored goals, but I think in terms of the threat and his athleticism and his quality coming as well and the connections, I think.

"Defensively, he's been immense as well down the side with Luke [Shaw] doubling up against two teams that ask a lot of questions down the sides, so it's a big, big job for him.

"I am delighted for him, because the two goals he's scored, they are very different goals but he's put so much into the performances. It's nice to see him smiling and happy."

The 21-year-old went down in some discomfort later in the game after a tangle with Ben White, and was brought off by the head coach, who went on to state that he's hoping Dorgu's injury was hopefully cramp and nothing worse.

Cunha also ranked high in the fan vote for his curled effort to win the game in the 87th minute, just three minutes after Merino had equalised.

In any other game, it would have been indisputably the best of the 90 minutes, but with Dorgu's cannoning strike preceding it, it was always going to be tricky to better.

Our captain, Bruno Fernandes, was another player to take a substantial chunk of the vote, adding another assist to his season tally in setting up Dorgu, making that 10 in the Premier League this season, the most of any player in the competition.

But the award was destined for Dorgu this time around. Congratulations, Patrick! Thanks to everyone who voted.
