Scott McTominay was voted Manchester United's Man of the Match in the UEFA Europa League final by our supporters.

McTominay put in an industrious shift at Gdansk Stadium on Wednesday evening, dominating the middle of the park and showing great energy throughout the match as he gave everything for his boyhood club.

In our Official App, our no.39's dynamic display was rewarded with almost half of the votes - 46 per cent - in our Man of the Match poll.

Speaking after the game, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said of the Scotland midfielder: "Scott McTominay was absolutely outstanding out there. He was, for me, the best player on the pitch."

At second place in the voting, we find Edinson Cavani, who scored our equaliser in the second half. A quarter of the voters, 25 per cent, believed El Matador was United's outstanding performer in Poland.

The Uruguayan marksman was in the right place at the right time to level the score at 1-1 in the 55th minute, with his sixth goal in five Europa League games. The 34-year-old finished his debut season at Old Trafford with an overall tally of 17 and we look forward to seeing what the prolific striker comes up with next term.

Behind Cavani, there were a handful of players battling it out for third position. In the end, David De Gea pipped the others to it.
