United confirm Academy intake for 2019/20
Manchester United have confirmed the intake of first-year scholars for the club's Under-18s squad in 2019/20.
As is always the case in July, the elder members of last year's group move into the Under-23s with the previous campaign's Under-16s stepping up to take their place.
Head coach Neil Ryan will have a host of options for the new term and worked with the boys at a training camp in Austria, which concluded at the weekend.

Two of the new faces share the same first name and are also both midfielders - Charlie Savage and Charlie Wellens. Wellens is from Salford and there is more local representation in the shape of Manchester-born Zidane Iqbal and central defender Will Fish.
The other Englishmen in the group are defenders Owen Dodgson and Calen Gallagher-Allison. Goalkeeper Dermot Mee was born in Birmingham but plays for Northern Ireland at Under-17 level.
Iestyn Hughes, who broke into the Under-18s side at the end of last season at full-back, hails from Wales and forward Ayodeji Sotona was born in Waterford, in the Republic of Ireland.
There have been other additions from overseas - Slovakian midfielder Martin Svidersky and French forward Noam Emeran.
More arrivals to the squad are due to be announced at a later date, once international clearance is received.
