Manchester United's Premier League schedule for December 2021 has been revealed.

Seven league matches will take place in the final month of 2021 and the New Year's Day game against Wolves at Old Trafford has already been confirmed as having a new date, Monday 3 January.

There is no traditional Boxing Day fixture after the trip to Newcastle United was moved to Monday 27 December.

United will not play on 26 December for the first time since 2009.

December now begins with a Thursday night assignment against Arsenal, with the Old Trafford clash kicking off at the later time of 20:15 GMT to accommodate live coverage in the UK on Amazon Prime Video.

As this game has been moved, that necessitates the home clash with Crystal Palace also changing, to Sunday 5 December. It will start at 14:00 GMT but is not due to be shown live on television in the UK.

The following weekend's away game at Norwich City (11 December) is now a 17:30 GMT kick-off as Sky Sports are screening the trip to East Anglia. Three days later (Tuesday 14 December), is a test on the road with another of the promoted sides in Brentford. Our first visit to the Brentford Community Stadium is on BT Sport and gets under way at 19:30 GMT.

A week before Christmas Day, United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford and that is an earlier start, 12:30 GMT, with BT Sport again selecting it for live coverage.

Following Christmas weekend, Sky's Monday night football comes from St James' Park with the Reds taking on Newcastle for the first time since their high-profile takeover was confirmed. Later that same week, we entertain Burnley at home with the clash against the Clarets on Thursday 30 December (20:15 GMT) being shown live in the UK on Amazon Prime Video.

That will be our final outing of 2021 and 2022 will start from a United perspective on Monday 3 January, when Wolves come to the Theatre of Dreams at 17:30 GMT, live on Sky Sports.
