Gareth Southgate with Harry Maguire

Which Reds are in England's squad for the October games?

England manager Gareth Southgate has selected three Manchester United players in his latest 30-man squad.

Dean Henderson is called up once again and the goalkeeper will hope to make his full international debut after impressive showings for the Reds in the Carabao Cup against Luton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Our captain Harry Maguire has been recalled for the Three Lions' three games against Wales, Belgium and Denmark in October, while Marcus Rashford will also be involved - our no.10 was forced to withdraw from the last squad due to injury.

Henderson isn't the only uncapped player included on a list which is larger than usual, due to the hectic start to this campaign.

Arsenal full-back Bukayo Saka has received the call from Southgate. while Leicester's Harvey Barnes and Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin are also selected after impressive starts to 2020/21.

The Three Lions are set to take on Ryan Giggs’s Wales – featuring United pair Daniel James and Dylan Levitt – in a friendly at Wembley on Thursday 8 October.

Attention then turns back to the UEFA Nations League, with England facing Group A2 table-toppers Belgium at the national stadium the following Sunday.

The Wembley triple-header comes to a conclusion on Wednesday 14 October, with the visit of Denmark. Southgate’s side currently sit second in their pool, having taken four points from their opening two games, in Iceland and Denmark.

A last-minute Raheem Sterling penalty gave England a 1-0 win in Reykjavik at the beginning of last month, prior to a goalless draw with the Danes in Copenhagen.
