Friday 30 September 2022 10:00

The kick-off for Manchester United's Premier League fixture with West Ham United has been altered.

The Old Trafford encounter is still taking place on Sunday 30 October and will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.

However, it will get under way at 16:15 GMT and not 16:30 GMT as originally scheduled.

United's October schedule is busiest ever

The Reds are set to play nine times next month, starting with the Manchester derby.

The minor change is due to an agreement between the clubs and the broadcaster.

Either side of this match, United face Europa League ties with Sheriff Tiraspol and Real Sociedad.

United won this fixture with David Moyes's men in January of last season 1-0, thanks to a dramatic injury-time goal by Marcus Rashford.

The Premier League's 14:00 GMT kick-off on Sunday 30 October was due to be Liverpool against Leeds United. However, that has been switched to the Saturday night instead (19:45 BST start) because of Liverpool's Champions League commitments in the following midweek.

The Chelsea v Manchester United fixture will take place on Saturday 22 October, with kick-off time to be confirmed pending ongoing conversations between the Premier League, clubs, broadcaster and local authorities.
