Manchester United’s new intake of players for the Professional Development Phase ahead of 2021/22 season is taking shape as 11 first-year players are being added to the group.

Some of the fresh faces already have experience of Under-18 Premier League football from last season, with the promotion of the youngsters above their age-group helping to further their education.

Daniel Gore already has an FA Youth Cup goal to his name, following his bullet header in the win at Salford City in the third round. The wide midfielder started three matches over the course of the Under-18s' campaign.

Midfielder Sam Mather earned two sub outings, one in that Youth Cup tie with Salford, but forward Kobbie Mainoo was the most involved of the new first-year scholars. The 16-year-old played in 11 matches in total, two as a starter.

The below list of players will experience a range of coaching and playing opportunities as they continue to work towards becoming established professional players.

We would like to wish them all the very best with their careers.
