Manchester United's Carabao Cup semi-final dates have been confirmed, as the Reds look to overcome Nottingham Forest in order to reach Wembley.

The first leg of our tie with Steve Cooper's men is being held at the City Ground on Wednesday 25 January, with kick-off at 20:00 GMT.

The return game is a week later, on Wednesday 1 February (again with a 20:00 GMT start), with Forest having only their second game at Old Trafford since the turn of the century.

We won the previous meeting in December, 3-0, thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Fred.

We can now confirm when the Reds' fourth-round clash with Reading will be staged at Old Trafford.

United beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 in midweek to secure our place in the last-four stage. In-form Rashford came off the bench to net twice and add to Antony's brilliant opener.

Forest overcame Wolves on penalties after a 1-1 draw at home, with Willy Boly and Raul Jimenez scoring the goals.

Dean Henderson was the shootout hero, making saves from Ruben Neves and Joe Hodge, but he will not be permitted to play in the two legs because he is currently on loan from United.

The other semi-final will be contested between fellow Premier League sides Southampton and Newcastle United.

Their fixtures will be played the day before the United-Forest games, with all the ties being shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.
