Maguire voted PL Player of the Month
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been voted as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for November.
Our no.5 becomes just the 17th defender to win the accolade, and third Reds centre-back to do so after Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
It comes after a colossal month at the back for Erik ten Hag’s side, in which we played three and won three without conceding a single goal.
Harry played the full 90 minutes in each fixture as the Reds enjoyed a perfect November.
Premier League Player of the Month 😍 Couldn’t have done it without my team mates, the staff and you fans. Your love and support doesn’t go unnoticed, I appreciate it ❤️ @ManUtd pic.twitter.com/hNU3GX3PMY

Three victories on the bounce began with an away trip to Fulham, where despite being injured early on, Maguire persevered on to deny the hosts a goal.
That allowed Bruno Fernandes to hit home a stoppage-time winner, to the delirium of our travelling Reds in the away end.
Ten Hag praised Maguire after the game, saying: “Harry showed leadership and in and out of possession he was very good. I’m very pleased with that performance from him.”
Next up was newly promoted Luton, with the Reds recording another narrow 1-0 victory while Maguire and co. kept things tight at the back.
A difficult visit to Goodison Park would conclude November, with our back four standing tall once more to shutout a relentless Toffees side.
Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial saw us cruise to a 3-0 victory.
Why November was Maguire's month
Player highlights | Here's why Harry Maguire is the Premier League Player of the Month for November...
Harry saw off stiff competition from Jeremy Doku (Manchester City), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), Thomas Kaminski (Luton), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea), and Marcus Tavernier (Bournemouth) to take home the accolade.
As well as the three clean sheets, Harry recorded the joint-highest number of blocks and fifth-highest number of clearances across the penultimate month of the year, making him a worthy winner.
Congratulations on your award, Harry, and thanks to everyone who voted for him.
