United learn kick-off time for Carabao Cup quarter-final
Manchester United's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Charlton Athletic will take place on Tuesday 10 January. Kick-off at Old Trafford is scheduled for 20:00 GMT but the tie will not be shown live on TV in the UK.
The tie adds to United's congested fixture list, with the clash with Addicks falling between consecutive home dates against Everton, on Friday 6 January in the Emirates FA Cup, and Manchester City, in the league, on Saturday 14 January.
Erik ten Hag's side booked our place among the final eight teams in this season's competition by beating Burnley 2-0 at the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday night, with Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford scoring the goals.
United Women keeper Mary Earps and former Republic of Ireland international Shay Given conducted the draw on Sky Sports.
We most recently met League One side Charlton in 2007. The Reds last lifted the trophy in 2017, when beating Southampton 3-2 in the final during Jose Mourinho's reign.
Manchester City knocked holders Liverpool out in the final tie of the fourth round, winning 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium.
