United learn kick-off time for Carabao Cup quarter-final

Tuesday 27 December 2022 12:00

Manchester United's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Charlton Athletic will take place on Tuesday 10 January. Kick-off at Old Trafford is scheduled for 20:00 GMT but the tie will not be shown live on TV in the UK.

The tie adds to United's congested fixture list, with the clash with Addicks falling between consecutive home dates against Everton, on Friday 6 January in the Emirates FA Cup, and Manchester City, in the league, on Saturday 14 January.

Erik ten Hag's side booked our place among the final eight teams in this season's competition by beating Burnley 2-0 at the Theatre of Dreams on Wednesday night, with Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford scoring the goals.
