Monday 03 April 2023 12:00

Manchester United’s international fan event, #ILOVEUNITED is coming to Singapore for the first time on Sunday 30 April, as the club strives to reward its fans in the region for their continued support.

#ILOVEUNITED Singapore will be a three-week celebration of Manchester United fandom in Singapore featuring locally-tailored content across club channels, including a special edition of the award-winning UTD Podcast.

The podcast will tell the story of the passion for United in Singapore, featuring first-team star Diogo Dalot alongside local fans, club Ambassador Dwight Yorke and Singapore-based radio host Justin Ang - one half of the much-loved Radio duo ‘The Muttons’, and a Manchester United supporter for 30 years.

The campaign culminates with the live fan event, co-hosted by Ang and featuring a screening of United’s Premier League match against Aston Villa from 11:00 BST at Southside, Sentosa Island, 80 Siloso Road, Singapore. Attended by United legends Andrew Cole and Yorke, the famous strike duo will be on hand to meet fans throughout the evening and share some stories of their time at the club.

Supporters will enjoy the full Manchester United matchday experience in the build-up to kick-off. From giveaways and unique photo opportunities to football challenges and interactive games, before a one-hour pre-match show live on stage, with fans attending #ILOVEUNITED playing a starring role in a special edition of MUTV’s Match Day Live.

Manchester United’s CEO, Alliances and Partnerships, Victoria Timpson, said:

“We are delighted to have chosen Singapore as the next destination to host #ILOVEUNITED and for the very first time, to be able to bring this incredible event to the country’s loyal and passionate United fans.
