Fans to receive our latest Yearbook ahead of 2025/26

Manchester United members and season ticket holders will receive the Official Yearbook on Thursday, featuring message of optimism from head coach Ruben Amorim and football director Jason Wilcox.

Our long-standing Yearbook is always an annual opportunity to take stock of the preceding season and look forward to the promise of a new campaign.

The 2024/25 edition will be emailed to season ticket holders and members this week, with the official club publication covering the men’s team, women’s team and Academy sides across its 276 pages, also celebrating our supporters’ clubs as well as the Manchester United Foundation.

Fulfilling our immense potential on a consistent basis is our aim for this season, as Amorim explains in his words for the Yearbook.

“For everyone associated with football - players, staff and fans alike - the start of the new season is a time of excitement and optimism, and a time to look forward,” says the boss.

“We should not completely ignore or forget what happened last season, because there are many lessons for us to learn from where things went badly, and also from the positive moments when we reminded ourselves of our potential to become so much better.

“All our energy is now focused on making sure we get closer to that potential, more often, and more consistently, this season.

“We all suffered so much disappointment and pain together last season as we went through that process of changing the way we work in our club.

“However, we are now in a much better position than we would have been if I was only joining this summer, because of everything I have learned in the past eight months, and everything the players have learned about what I expect of them.

“One of the main things I have learned is how magical this football club is, and how special its fans are. I feel a big sense of responsibility to help put Manchester United back where it belongs and, like I said on the pitch at Old Trafford after our final game of last season, a strong believe that much better days lie ahead.

“I cannot promise that we will reach all our long-term objectives this season, but I can promise that I will give everything to help put us firmly on that path.”

In the Yearbook's foreword, Wilcox explains there is a a clear vision for our men’s team to enjoy a much-improved 2025/26 season.

“Every morning when I drive through the gates of Carrington, I feel honoured to be working for Manchester United, and a sense of responsibility to help get this great club back to the top,” says Jason.

“Most of all, I feel a sense of excitement about the opportunity in front of us.

“Because, seeing the support that this club receives from its magnificent fans, even during difficult times, I can only imagine what it will feel like if we can once again deliver consistent success, and that is our aim.
“We all recognise that the men's first team fell well short of expectations last season, and we know many of the reasons for that as we went through the difficult process of changing our head coach, our style of play, and many other things around the club.

“We now feel in a much stronger position, with Ruben and our new football leadership team bedded in, to start moving in the right direction.”

Wilcox also writes optimistically about the diligent work being done to develop our Academy and United Women.

“As always at this club, our Academy has an important role to play in building the foundations for future success,” explains Jason.

“I am excited by the talent we have coming through our ranks, supplemented by some outstanding young players we have been pleased to attract to the club from elsewhere in the past year.
“There is also lots to be optimistic about around our women's team, after a strong third-placed finish in the WSL and a third consecutive FA Cup final appearance.

“Marc Skinner and the players can be proud of the progress they have made in the past year, with a young and developing squad with the potential to keep getting better.

“Across all our teams, we have a clear vision for success and a huge determination to achieve it. Thank you to all our fans for your unwavering support as we take the next steps on that journey.”

The official 2024/25 Manchester United Yearbook will be released on Thursday.
