Help Mbeumo win PL Player of the Month!
Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo’s terrific October form has seen him named as one of eight nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
Our summer signing from Brentford was a star of United’s perfect month in the league, during which the Reds won all three of our outings, against Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.
Across those fixtures, Mbeumo’s three goals and one assist meant he was directly involved in more strikes than any player across the division, making him a deserving contender for the prize.

Mbeumo: Training work is paying off
Bryan Mbeumo is asked about his two goals as he explains the secret behind our good form…
Mbeumo’s curling pass from out on the right flank was delightful and helped get United onto the front foot early in the month, after it was finished off by Mount inside eight minutes.
After scoring himself for Cameroon during the break, Bryan then only needed 62 seconds to put Ruben Amorim’s side ahead at Anfield upon club football’s resumption, netting a cool one-on-one finish at The Kop as the Reds won away to Liverpool for the first time since 2016.
Just under a week later, he took his tally for the month to three Premier League goals with a double against Brighton, as United completed a hat-trick of wins in October. His first effort – to put us 3-0 up – was a smartly reversed finish inside the near post, before our no.19 dashed the Seagulls’ hopes of a late comeback with a crashing stoppage-time sealer.
Mbeumo has also been shortlisted for the club’s own October accolade, one that he won back in August, after his impressive start to life at Old Trafford.
He’s never claimed the Premier League’s monthly prize though, despite his eye-catching displays for Brentford last term, so is bidding to get his hands on the division-wide trophy for the first time here.
Your vote could help Bryan achieve that, as he goes up against seven other leading performers from across the top flight in October.
Bournemouth’s Junior Kroupi and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland also scored three goals in the month to warrant nominations, while Brentford forward Igor Thiago and Newcastle midfielder Buno Guimaraes each scored two and have also been included.
The competitive list also includes three defenders that stood out across the three rounds of fixtures; Jurrien Timber of Arsenal, Matty Cash of Aston Villa and Nordi Mukiele of Sunderland.
A reminder that you can vote for Bryan here - you have until 12:00 GMT on Monday 3 November to do so.
The winner will be announced at 11:00 GMT on Friday 7 November.
