United learn National League Cup opponents
The draw for the 2025/26 National League Cup has taken place, with the competition in its second year.
Our Under-21s will compete and benefit from tackling senior opponents from the top tier of non-league football in England.
United are in Group A and will meet Morecambe, Rochdale, Solihull Moors and Tamworth, all away from home.
The other sides in the group - Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Everton will not face us.

The matches will be played in midweek, with confirmed fixture details to follow in due course. The opening games are scheduled to take place around 12/13 August.
The two top-placed sides in the four groups progress to the knockout stages, with Leeds United the current holders.
Travis Binnion's youngsters are to have a reunion with Rochdale. Not only are we playing them in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 2 August, but our game at the Crown Oil Arena last term in this competition produced its record attendance - 3,681.
