Under-21s confirm summer friendly
Manchester United's Under-21s have arranged a pre-season friendly against Rochdale.
The match is set to take place on Saturday 2 August, kicking off at 15:00 BST.
The away fixture will prove to be a valuable piece of preparation for the upcoming Premier League 2 campaign, as Travis Binnion's reshaped squad look to gel.
Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (over 65s and under 22s).
There will be no segregation at the Crown Oil Arena as we take on the National League side, who finished fourth in that division last term, before losing out in the play-offs to Southend United.
The clubs last met at first-team level in September 2019, when United won a penalty shootout in the Carabao Cup, following a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
The same method was used to decide an EFL Trophy clash at the Crown Oil Arena a year later, after a goalless stalemate.
Former United Academy man Aidan Barlow is part of the current Dale squad.
More details on the pre-season schedule will be confirmed in due course.
