Newcastle kick-off time announced

Friday 09 October 2020 18:30

Manchester United will face Newcastle United on Saturday 17 October in our next outing in the Premier League.

The fixture at St James' Park will now kick off at 20:00 BST, rather than its originally scheduled time of 15:00 BST.

One player who will be absent for the Reds is striker Anthony Martial, who must serve the first of his three-game suspension.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are desperate to bounce back from the hugely disappointing home loss to Tottenham last weekend and will be keen to extend our unbeaten run in away fixtures to 17 in all competitions, following the victories at Luton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion (twice) this season. Our defeat in the Europa League to Sevilla last term came at a neutral venue.

Newcastle, who are of course managed by former Reds captain Steve Bruce, currently lie ninth in the table after beating Burnley 3-1 in their last match.

After our trip to Tyneside, we'll make the eagerly awaited return to Champions League action against Paris Saint-Germain in France, before three home games in succession at Old Trafford.
