United's players offer support for Yoro

Yoro, suffered a foot problem during our pre-season clash with Arsenal in the US, with the 18-year-old having now undergone surgery to rectify the issue.

Expected to be out of action for around three months, the former Lille star sent a message on social media to his followers that his operation had been a success.

"This is not the start I wanted, but that’s football," began Yoro on Instagram.

"The operation went well. Thank you for your many messages of support.

"Now, time for patience and rehabilitation work. See you soon, stronger."

United's players were quick to comment on the post uploaded by the teenager, with captain Bruno Fernandes leading the tributes.

"We will be waiting and supporting you," wrote the Portugal international.

"Back stronger, my bro," added centre-forward Rasmus Hojlund.

"Back in no time, brother," said the Reds' no.7, Mason Mount.

"Soon back, bro," replied Academy graduate Ethan Wheatley.

Further United players could also be seen in the comments with Kobbie Mainoo, Hannibal, Rhys Bennett, Jack Fletcher and Habeeb Ogunneye just some of the others to offer their backing.

Maxi Oyedele, Sam Murray and Sam Mather also issued their own kind sentiment with a heart emoji.

Yoro will continue in his recovery and rehabilitation before getting back to full fitness.
