Three Reds remain in Golden Boy contention
The list of players in contention for the 2024 Golden Boy award has been whittled down to 25 names.
Three Manchester United men remain in the frame for the trophy, handed out to the best male youngster across Europe over a calendar year.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport established the accolade in 2003, with former winners including Wayne Rooney, Anderson, Anthony Martial and Matthijs de Ligt.
Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham is the current holder.
Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are the three Reds in the frame.
Yoro's excellent performances for Lille earned him a spot on the shortlist, revealed at Thursday's event in Rome, but he has yet to make a competitive appearance for United due to injury, as he continues on the comeback trail.
Mainoo and Garnacho both scored in the Emirates FA Cup final win over Manchester City and have been key figures for Erik ten Hag, after coming through the successful youth team together.
A jury of 50 journalists will decide the winner, due to be announced in November.
