United train ahead of flight to Belgium

Manchester United's players have been working in front of the cameras at the Aon Training Complex ahead of the flight to Belgium for the Europa League round-of-32 first leg with Club Brugge.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be asked to clarify his squad situation at the press conference later on Wednesday (17:00 GMT) but, as always, there will be some clues gleaned from those spotted at our training base.

One man who was involved in the open session was Scott McTominay. The midfielder has not featured for the Reds since  sustaining a knee injury in our Boxing Day triumph over Newcastle United, but took part in training along with his team-mates.

Another who trained was Odion Ighalo. Our January recruit made his United debut on Monday night as a substitute during the 2-0 win over Chelsea, but could start his first game for the Reds in Belgium.

The famous stadium enjoys another landmark as the club is proud of our iconic home.

Axel Tuanzebe and Victor Lindelof were also present, even though the Swede was forced to miss the trip to Chelsea through illness. Hopefully, it appears he has recovered and was involved in the training session.

Mason Greenwood was not part of the group that was put though their paces by Ole and his coaching staff, and the boss will, of course, give an update on his availability during his press conference.

Young midfielder Connor Stanley was involved as he is not part of the squad that has already flown to Belgium ahead of the youth friendly with Club Brugge.

The Reds’ game against Brugge takes place 17:55 GMT on Thursday, with the reverse fixture taking place at Old Trafford seven days later.

Training squad in full: David De Gea, Sergio Romero, Nathan Bishop; Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Brandon Williams; Nemanja Matic, Fred, Scott McTominay, Connor Stanley, Jesse Lingard, Bruno Fernandes, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Daniel James; Anthony Martial, Odion Ighalo.
