United trigger Keira Barry contract extension
A one-year extension has been triggered in the contract of young Manchester United Women forward Keira Barry.
The Academy graduate’s deal was due to expire at the end of this month but will now run until at least June 2026.
Barry has been with the club since joining our Academy at the age of 10 and proudly signed her first professional contract in August 2023, having made her first-team debut against Sheffield United during the 2022/23 season.

The forward, who turned 20 earlier this month, spent the following campaign at Crystal Palace as the Eagles earned promotion to the Women’s Super League for the first time in their history, before returning to Manchester for 2024/25.
Keira’s term was interrupted by surgery on her ankle, but she diligently worked her way back onto the training pitch before the season was out before and represented the Reds at the inaugural World Sevens tournament in May.
