Under-23s face Brighton live on MUTV

Thursday 05 November 2020 15:41

There is some Friday afternoon action for MUTV viewers as Manchester United's Under-23s take on Brighton & Hove Albion on the south coast.

Our cameras will be present to cover the Premier League 2 fixture for Neil Wood's side as we look to build on the 2-1 victory over Everton last time out.

The clash with the Seagulls kicks off at 15:00 GMT.

Anthony Elanga is congratulated by Shola Shoretire.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had suggested Facundo Pellistri will be involved again after we had a first glimpse of the Uruguayan in the home clash with the Toffees' Under-23s, however the youngster did not travel.

There will be action for some of those in action in last Friday's FA Youth Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea at St George's Park, including Reece Devine as part of a three-man defence following his return from injury. Paul Woolston keeps goal with Jacob Carney, who is out on loan at Brighouse Town, on the bench.

United: Woolston; Ercolani, Devine, Fish; Puigmal, Galbraith, Hannibal, Helm, Fernandez; Shoretire, Elanga.

Subs: Carney, Neville, McCann, Stanley, Hugill.

Wood's side also have a game over the international break, when travelling to Morecambe for our final EFL Trophy group fixture on Wednesday 18 November.

Watch the Under-23s' match with Brighton live on MUTV - kick-off 15:00 GMT on Friday.
