Alyssa Aherne joins Sheffield United on loan
Manchester United Women can today confirm that winger Alyssa Aherne will spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Barclays Women’s Championship side Sheffield United.
Alyssa signed her first professional contract with the club in May 2023, after making her first-team debut in our 4-0 League Cup victory over Sheffield United in December that same season - making her the 12th Academy graduate to sign for our women’s first team since reforming in 2018.
