Sophie Baggaley departs United
Manchester United can confirm that goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley has joined fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Brighton and Hove Albion on a permanent deal.
Baggaley joined United in July 2021 and went on to make 10 appearances in goal for the club – with her debut arriving in October 2021's penalty shootout win over Durham in the League Cup.
Sophie has been a mainstay of United’s squad since joining from Bristol City and featured four times during the 2022/23 campaign, which saw the team finish second in the WSL, secure Champions League qualification for the first time, and make it to a maiden FA Cup Final.
