Tuesday 03 February 2026 23:00

Manchester United completed several incomings and outgoings in the Barclays Women's Super League's 2026 winter transfer window, which shut at 23:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The signings of Hanna Lundkvist and Lea Schuller were formalised when the window opened on 1 January.

Lundkvist joined the Reds after departing American club San Diego Wave, while Schuller made the switch from German champions Bayern Munich.

Ellen Wangerheim then became our third recruit of the winter, upon completing her move from Swedish side Hammarby.

As far as outgoings are concerned, Hannah Blundell signed on loan with Everton for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

Geyse, meanwhile, completed a permanent transfer to Mexican side Club America, after two-and-a-half years at United.

We also wished Rachel Williams the best of luck for the future, as the striker rejoined old club Leicester City.

Furthermore, three young Reds embarked on temporary spells away from the club, with Lucy Newell heading to Crystal Palace and Emma Watson sealing a loan move to Tigres, before Mared Griffiths became a Sunderland player on deadline day.

After the deadline, Keira Barry's permanent move to NWSL franchise Bay FC was confirmed, while Scarlett Hill headed to Sheffield United on an Academy dual registration loan.
