United Women's match shirts up for auction

Thursday 30 November 2023 13:00

Match-issued shirts from Manchester United Women’s record-breaking recent match at Old Trafford are being auctioned to raise vital funds for Manchester United Foundation.

There are 18 player shirts available, one for each player who was in the matchday squad for our game against Manchester City – including Ella Toone, Katie Zelem and Mary Earps – in front of a record home crowd of 43,615.

The auction lots also include two shirts which will be hand-signed by members of the United Women squad.

The 18 match-issued shirts will each be individually signed by the player whose name is printed on the back, and will feature official Women’s Super League sleeve badges on the right arm.

All funds raised through the auction will go back into supporting the charitable work of Manchester United Foundation, which now extends beyond Greater Manchester and into Derbyshire, London and Northern Ireland.

The Foundation uses the power and appeal of Manchester United to encourage young people aged between 5 and 25 to make more positive choices in their lives by delivering community and education programmes.

During the 2022/23 season, the Foundation positively engaged with more than 25,000 young people through more than 116 projects.

Fans can bid in the shirts auction here until 14:00 GMT on Saturday 16 December.
