United Women sign Rachel Williams

Manchester United Women are delighted to announce the signing of forward Rachel Williams on a contract running until the end of the 2023/24 season.

The vastly experienced attacker reunites with head coach Marc Skinner, having previously worked together at Birmingham City Women from 2017 to 2019, and has had top-flight spells with Doncaster Rovers Belles, Chelsea Women, Notts County Ladies and most recently Tottenham Hotspur Women.

The 34-year-old attacker joins United with 13 international caps for the Lionesses and was part of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

On signing, Rachel said: “I’m very pleased to join this fantastic club.

"It’s a big opportunity that’s been handed to me and I’m looking forward to getting started. United have a good squad and I’m excited to work with these girls for the coming season.
