United Women to play in AMOS French Cup

Marc Skinner’s side will prepare for the 2022/23 season by facing some of the strongest teams in Europe including FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain Féminine.

Taking place at the 19,500 capacity Stade Ernest-Wallon, the tournament begins at the semi-final stage on 16 August with the final set for a 21:00 local time kick-off on 19 August.

The draw for the semi-final stage was made on Thursday evening and paired the sides as follows:

Paris Saint-Germain v United

Bayern Munich v Barcelona

Manchester United Women manager Marc Skinner said: “The AMOS Women’s French Cup is the perfect preparation for the important season ahead.

“The opportunity to face elite European opposition, in an excellent environment, will stand the team in great stead ahead of the start of our Women’s Super League campaign.
