United Women trio named in Team of the Season
Manchester United Women trio Phallon Tullis-Joyce, Maya Le Tissier and Grace Clinton have all been named in the Barclays WSL Team of the Season.
The Reds have enjoyed a stellar campaign so far, having most recently booked our spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League for next season after securing 3rd place.
Our 2-2 draw against Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday was enough to finish the job, with Marc Skinner's side amassing 44 points so far from 21 games played.
It's been a wonderful season, with there still a chance at silverware too, as we face WSL champions Chelsea in the Adobe Women's FA Cup final on Sunday May 18.
90 in 20: United Women v City
90 IN 20 | Here's the extended cut of United Women's crucial clash with rivals City on Sunday…
PHALLON TULLIS-JOYCE
Tullis-Joyce has made it a campaign to remember in between the sticks for United, boasting a whopping 13 WSL clean sheets so far, with there still one game left to play.
Remarkably, the USWNT international has kept 18 clean sheets from 26 games this season in all competitions and she could still reach 20 too.
No goalkeeper in the WSL has more, so it is no surprise Phallon has been selected, with her standout triple save against Chelsea in midweek a clear indicator of her talents.
MAYA LE TISSIER
Club captain Le Tissier has been a rock at the back for the Reds and her performances have not gone unnoticed across what has been a remarkable defensive season.
As mentioned, United's defence has been as solid as they came, with Maya playing her part in every game in every competition across 2024/25 so far.
It is no surprise given her defensive talents, with last-ditch tackles, remarkable ball-carrying and effortless interceptions all brilliant facets of her game.
We may even see her lift a trophy too before the end of the campaign, which would surely be the icing on the cake for the England international.

GRACE CLINTON
After a remarkable season with Tottenham Hotspur last year on loan, Grace Clinton has returned with a bang and been a standout star in midfield.
Grace has scored nine goals in total and has made 22 appearances for the club in total, proving her tireless attitude under Skinner.
A Goal of the Season contender at Aston Villa may have been one of her best, but her diligent displays have been a joy to watch.
It is no surprise to us that she has been selected, and even signed a new contract with the club back in January, extended her stay until 2026.
Clinton gives advice to loanees
Grace Clinton, who knows all about making an impact out on loan, has a word of advice for those temporarily departing…
Congratulations to all three Reds, with just two games left to go until the end of the 2024/25 term.
We are so proud of your efforts and here is to even more success in the future.
