Revealed: United Women's 2024/25 WSL fixtures
Manchester United’s schedule for the 2024/25 Women’s Super League season has been released.
Marc Skinner’s side will be looking to improve on last term’s fifth-placed finish, when the Reds dropped out of contention for the European places before the triumphant high experienced at Wembley in May, when we beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 to lift the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
Our sixth WSL campaign will begin on the weekend of 21/22 September, as we host West Ham United Women.
The equivalent fixture in 2023/24 ended 5-0 in our favour, with Nikita Parris and Melvine Malard among the goals – the former has extended her contract for another year, while Malard made her loan deal permanent earlier this month.
The first away trip of the season sees us travel the short distance to Everton Women’s Walton Hall Park the following weekend, while a journey to reigning champions Chelsea – in their first season without legendary boss Emma Hayes – is next up.
United’s first meeting with Arsenal arrives, at home, in November, while the opening Manchester derby of the campaign will be the Reds’ maiden fixture of 2025, at our crosstown rivals, in mid-January.
The reverse meeting comes on the penultimate weekend, in the middle of games against Chelsea and Arsenal, in what looks a tough culmination to the schedule for Skinner’s side.
