The Frenchman leads the assist-makers chart after two games, but has his sights set on the long term.

We have met West Ham on three occasions in this competition, winning twice and being eliminated once, with the most recent meeting coming at the quarter-final stage of our 2016/17 campaign, in which we triumphed 4-1 on the way to lifting the trophy for the fifth time.

The midweek contest in M16 will also be the second time we will face David Moyes’ side in the space of four days next month, as we are scheduled to go head-to-head with the team from the capital at the London Stadium in the Premier League, on the weekend prior.
