Skinner: Geyse can be a superstar
Geyse can be a superstar for Manchester United Women.
That is according to manager Marc Skinner, who spoke to the press after our 3-0 victory over West Ham on Saturday.
Skinner waxed lyrical about the Brazilian attacker, who netted United's first goal of 2024/25 against the Hammers, setting the Reds on the way to a professional win in our Women's Super League opener.

"I thought she was excellent," he said in his post-match press conference.
"I was asked earlier today does Geyse have to prove herself, she doesn't have to prove anything to anyone. We've got to be here to support Geyse.
"She came with four or five days left of our pre-season last year, didn't speak English. This year she's learnt about the people, she's learnt about the language and she's now in a space where I see her smile.
"If we have a Geyse who is smiling, we have a Geyse who is deadly and that's my job, to keep her in a position where she's enjoying the game.
"We put too much pressure on ourselves. My players have to play and they have to enjoy it. If we get that balance of hard work and enjoyment you will see a superstar."
Geyse's first-half goal was followed up by a rocket from Leah Galton and a header by Grace Clinton, who netted on her debut for the Reds and was voted as our Player of the Match by the fans.
