Marcus Rashford will have a scan on his injured ankle on Monday morning after the striker was forced off during Manchester United's brilliant derby win over City on Sunday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed after our 2-0 victory that our no.10 had picked up an ankle knock after sprinting back to make a vital tackle as City broke forward.

Rashford was forced off on 73 minutes, but his manager hopes the issue is not a serious one.

In our interview, Ole explains why Anthony Martial was his star man and salutes Luke Shaw's goalscoring performance...

"It is one of them. It was a great recovery run, a recovery sprint, he saved maybe a goal, so he sacrificed himself for the team," Ole told club media.

"It is something with his ankle I think. I am not a doctor but hopefully it is not too bad. We will have to scan him in the morning.”

The Reds were already without Edinson Cavani, who had to come off during United's final training session before the derby on Saturday.

Keep an eye on our website and Official App over the coming days for a further update on Rashford and Cavani ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash against AC Milan.
