Rashford sends message to United fans
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has expressed his appreciation for the club's supporters - and his determination to give them something to cheer about in the 2022/23 season.
When asked in our exclusive pre-season interview if he would like to send a message to the fans, Rashford began his response by saying, “A big thank you.”
Acknowledging a “difficult last season”, our no.10 added: “We’ve put it behind us and now we just need to put all our energy into next season and try to win trophies.
“[That is] what we are here to do as players.”

Rashford was among the players who participated in the first week of work at the club’s Carrington training ground, as new manager Erik ten Hag coached his squad for the first time.
Although there is still a month of pre-season to go, the Mancunian forward is already looking forward to seeing what the 2022/23 campaign brings, starting with our Premier League curtain-raiser against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Sunday 7 August.
“All the energy is going in the right direction,” said Rashford, before addressing the fans again.
“We appreciate your support, and we can’t wait to be back at Old Trafford.”
