Manchester United's first-team squad trained in front of our cameras at Carrington on Wednesday morning.

Erik ten Hag's side are preparing for another crucial clash in the chase for a top-four place in the Premier League, with Bournemouth providing the opposition at the Vitality Stadium, in a 15:00 BST kick-off on Saturday.

An improved performance on the road, and three points, are the order of the day and the Reds were looking fresh and focused at our base, with an extremely rare seven days' break since the last game, the 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

There is good news regarding Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay, who have both returned to training.

Our leading scorer, a strong contender for the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award after the voting was launched this week, took part in the session after missing the win over Wolves due to injury.

Midfielder McTominay continues to push to reappear from his own lay-off. The Scotland international has not played since scoring in the 2-0 triumph over Everton on 8 April.

Raphael Varane, who was replaced by Harry Maguire late on last weekend as a precaution, according to the manager when interviewed afterwards, was present among the group. Goalkeeper Tom Heaton is back in the fold too.

Youngsters Omari Forson and Daniel Gore also took part in the work-out. Some 32 PDP (Professional Development Phase) players have trained with the first team this season, amassing 571 sessions between them.

The Reds have lost the services of midfielder Marcel Sabitzer for the rest of the run-in. The Austria international, signed on loan from Bayern Munich in January, has a meniscal problem that will be keep him out of action.

Centre-back Lisandro Martinez also misses the remainder of the campaign, while Donny van de Beek is another long-term absentee.
