Our in-form forward scored in all but two of our eight outings across the month, including an emphatic winner in the Manchester derby, as we saw off our crosstown rivals 2-1 at Old Trafford.

His incredible scoring run meant he also equalled Dennis Viollet's feat of netting in nine consecutive home matches, with his total for the season currently standing at a whopping 18 goals.

A stunning effort against Arsenal, as well as another trademark individual solo goal against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup were just two of his best, as our no.10 continues to go from strength-to-strength under Erik ten Hag this season.

Rashford's first goal of January came during our comprehensive 3-0 win over Bournemouth, before he netted in our FA Cup and Carabao Cup successes over Everton and Charlton Athletic respectively. His brace against the Addicks came after a superb late cameo from the bench.

A superb day in M16 followed as we saw off Pep Guardiola's side 2-1 in the Premier League. Rashford was in the right place at the right time to notch our winner following Alejandro Garnacho's superb pass to pick him out inside the area.

His strike against the Gunners only further proved his revival under Ten Hag, cleverly nutmegging Thomas Partey before slamming the ball past Aaron Ramsdale, in a game we would unfortunately lose 3-2.

His superb opener against Forest at the City Ground set us on our way to a 3-0 triumph over Steve Cooper's side, as he surged through the pitch on a dazzling solo run before firing past Wayne Hennessey.

Our last match of January was a 3-1 win over Reading and Rashford had a goal disallowed, after Wout Weghorst was ruled offside prior to Marcus heading home. That meant his consecutive home scoring record unfortunately came to an end.

Beating Casemiro, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Bruno Fernandes to the award, our forward becomes the first United player to win the award in consecutive months this season.
