Manchester United’s first signing of the summer, Mason Mount, has reacted proudly to the news he will wear the iconic no.7 shirt as a Red.
Following the announcement of his transfer from Chelsea on Wednesday morning, it was confirmed that our acquisition will don the legendary squad number.
It has previously been worn by the likes of George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and his boyhood idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I know the history and understand the responsibility that comes with this shirt,” writes Mason on social media.
“The most important for me is to gain your trust and I will work hard to do that.
“I won’t let you down Reds!”
