Mason is refreshed and ready to go
Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is refreshed, recharged and ready to go.
The 25-year-old sat down with club media in Los Angeles for an exclusive interview, which MUTV subscribers can watch in full now.
After a stop-start first season with the Reds, Mount is enjoying the time to prepare for 2024/25 over in the United States, and loving the support from the fanatical locals.
“It’s always good to come out here, always good to see the fans that come out and support us over here, because they don't get to see us often,” Mount said.

“So it's definitely a point of ours to give them some time and sign a few autographs and make time for them. So yeah, it's been brilliant so far.”
Mount’s first campaign with United was impacted by injury, although he did return to action in the latter stages and was on the field when we clinched the Emirates FA Cup at Wembley in May.
Unlike many of his team-mates, Mason was not involved in international action over the summer and had an opportunity to rest and reset.
“I had a few weeks with the family, just relaxing and kind of taking a break and then keeping on it, keeping training, trying to stay active,” he added.
“Obviously you’re not taking too much time off because you've got to prepare for the season and got to be in the best position going into pre-season.
“So I felt like that was a perfect break for me.”

Aside from the three Tour 2024 games, United are working hard at the world-class UCLA facility in California, where the weather is perfect and there are few distractions.
Mount feels the benefits of being out in LA are clear, ahead of another packed season where we’ll once again be fighting on four fronts.
“This is such an important time for us as a group, to put the work in, to work at a few different things we're going into the season trying to do.
“We don't normally get loads of time to prepare for games during the season. You have maybe a few days if you're having two games a week.

“So now we have an extended period of time where we can work at things together and build something.
“That’s definitely what we've been doing over the last two weeks and then obviously coming out here.
“So ramping it up, really feeling good in the group and there's a really good vibe. So yeah, we'll be ready.”
