Mount returns to training
There was a welcome sight at Manchester United's open training session, ahead of Thursday's Europa League second-leg showdown with Real Sociedad.
Mason Mount was back working with the group, as he takes a big step towards making his first appearance of 2025, after suffering an injury in the Manchester derby victory at the Etihad Stadium in December.
Head coach Ruben Amorim has already expressed in the past how the clever midfielder could be the perfect fit for his system.

We are due to hear from Ruben Amorim on Wednesday afternoon, to preview the Old Trafford clash, with the tie all square at 1-1 following the first leg at the Reale Arena last week.
It is likely he will be asked about Mount, and whether the 26-year-old can be in contention for a place in the matchday squad as early as Thursday night, or held off from returning.
