Le Tissier wins Player of the Month
Manchester United Women captain Maya Le Tissier has been named Player of the Month for May, as voted for by our fans.
The Reds only played three times in the final month of the 2024/25 season, as we qualified for the Women's Champions League.
An ever-present all term, Maya beat competition from team-mates Leah Galton, Hinata Miyazawa and Grace Clinton to bag our last accolade this term.

United drew with Manchester City and lost twice in May - including the Adobe Women's FA Cup final against Chelsea - but leading the Reds out at Wembley is surely something that Maya will take great pride in.
The Reds have recently enjoyed the first-ever World Sevens tournament in Estoril, Portugal, but these exciting and entertaining games don't count towards our May award.
While the results may not have gone the way we wanted, United sealed European qualification for next term with that draw against City at Old Trafford.
Le Tissier netted a penalty in our narrow defeat at Arsenal and has been an example to her team-mates throughout 2024/25.
A reliable defender in terms of quality and availability, Le Tissier has grown into her role as skipper with every passing game and, at just 23 years of age, her best years are ahead of her.
Congratulations on the award, Maya!
