Carrick names team for Cottagers challenge
Michael Carrick has selected his Manchester United team to take on Fulham at Old Trafford.
Our head coach must do without the services of newly crowned Player of the Month, Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu, who is unavailable for the first time this season and will not feature for only the second occasion in 2025/26.
Matheus Cunha starts, after two stellar performances off the bench, against Manchester City and Arsenal, including scoring the sensational winner at the Emirates Stadium last time out.
There is no Mason Mount in the matchday squad but Shea Lacey returns and is among the substitutes, for his first involvement since receiving a red card in the Emirates FA Cup third-round exit to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Joshua Zirkzee has also proved his fitness, following a short spell out, and he scored a late winner in this fixture last season, on his competitive debut for the club.
Zirkzee's fellow Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined due to injury.
