Bruce looking to spoil Ronaldo's return
Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce insists his side will be looking to ruin the long awaited return of Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford, with the Magpies aiming for their first win in M16 since 2013.
The former Manchester United defender, who made over 400 appearances during his time with the club, has hailed Cristiano as "one of the best in the world" and claims the Theatre of Dreams could have sold out multiple times for what is set to be yet another blockbuster event.
"When you’re the best player in the world, arguably, then this sort of thing happens," stated Bruce, in his pre-match press conference.
"It’s quite an incredible story of him going back. I’m sure they could have filled [the stadium] ten times over if they wished!"

The Magpies are yet to register a win in the Premier League this season and after twice squandering a lead against Southampton last time out, the Newcastle boss admits facing the Reds in front of a "carnival-like atmosphere" is the type of game everyone is involved in football for.
"It’s something really that we're all in football for, the big stages, the big atmosphere, the big carnival which it will be tomorrow.
"It’s what you play for and we're going there to take on the biggest and the best, that’s what were up against this weekend," Bruce added.
