Why Martial missed the Tottenham match
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Anthony Martial's absence from Manchester United's squad to face Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford is due to injury.
The French striker was substituted with eight minutes to go during Sunday's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa, and the boss has now shed light on how long the 25-year-old could be on the sidelines for.
Speaking in our exclusive pre-match interview in the tunnel, just ahead of kick-off against Spurs, Solskjaer said: "Anthony, he got a slight injury on Sunday, so he will be out for a little while."

While the severity of the injury is still to be revealed, the news of Martial's problem remains a blow as we enter the busy period of festive fixtures.
The Reds will contest the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening, before returning to Old Trafford next Thursday for the final Europa League Group L match against AZ Alkmaar.
Then comes another home fixture against Everton on 15 December and the Carabao Cup quarter-final tie with Colchester United, which are followed by a run of three matches in six days against Watford, Newcastle United and Burnley.
