Ole confirms starter for next Hammers clash
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already revealed that one of Sunday’s star men will start against West Ham United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The boss was understandably very pleased following our dramatic 2-1 Premier League win over the Hammers at the London Stadium on Sunday.
One of those who received praise was goalscorer Jesse Lingard, who curled in a beautiful goal as United claimed a 2-1 win in east London.
"I think today was a good answer on Jesse," Ole said in his post-match press conference about the substitute, when asked about why he did not seal a permanent move to the Londoners.
"It was quite clear that he wants to fight for his place and want to be a part of a United team he feels is going places. For me, I can’t speak for Jesse now, but he is really contributing."
Ole: We always believe in David!

United face David Moyes’ men once again in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night under the floodlights at the Theatre of Dreams. There, our no.14 will get the chance from the off, Ole confirmed when speaking to journalists after Sunday’s triumph.
"He’ll play, of course, on Wednesday because we will make a few changes," the manager explained.
Lingard has had a mixed week following his part in Young Boys’ winner in the Champions League but bounced back with a truly stunning winner to secure three vital Premier League points on Sunday.
"I’m so happy and pleased for him," the boss said about the man who scored the vital second goal against the Hammers but refused to celebrate out of respect for his former loan club.
"He handles the setbacks, the highs and lows really well, is becoming a grown man and is a very good player."
United’s Carabao Cup clash with West Ham kicks off at 20:00 BST on Wednesday evening, we'll bring you more team news when we get it.
