Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at a press conference in Perth

Solskjaer's team news for Leeds clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to give David De Gea, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku their first appearances on Tour 2019 when Manchester United take on Leeds United in Perth.

However, goalkeeper Lee Grant - the other squad member who didn't play in the opening pre-season win over Perth Glory - is not yet fit enough to feature and Luke Shaw, who didn't quite complete the planned 45 minutes on Saturday, may not be risked after feeling tightness in his hamstring.
De Gea was an unused sub for the Perth Glory game, when Sergio Romero and Joel Pereira played a half each.
"All of them were training yesterday," confirmed Solskjaer, at his press conference to preview Wednesday's game.

"No one missed training, so 24 [outfield] players plus the keepers. Granty is still not fit and maybe we won’t risk Luke, we’re not sure, but Rom, Vic and Eric who missed the first game [with niggles], they are fit."

When asked whether De Gea will face Leeds and what the latest news is on his contract, the Reds' boss replied: "Yeah, he’ll play tomorrow and hopefully we can agree [a new deal] with David, as I’ve said a few times. I think that’ll be up to David and the club to announce if that happens, if and when."
Solskjaer is anticipating another good workout for his side at Optus Stadium, against the club's historic rivals who just missed out on promotion to the top flight last season.

"If we see Leeds back up in the Premier League one day I’m sure you will see the size of the game," said the manager.

"It’s a great occasion for both sets of supporters and the players as well, because there were some fantastic games [in the past]."

United v Leeds will be the second of six pre-season games being shown live on MUTV this summer. The club's official television channel is available on MUTV.com, the MUTV app, Amazon Fire, Roku, Xbox and Apple TV.
