Ole wishes Alexis well ahead of transfer
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is wishing Alexis Sanchez "all the best" as the Chilean striker prepares to complete his transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan.
With a formal announcement expected on Thursday morning, the manager was asked about Alexis in the aftermath of the Reds' 2-1 Europa League win over LASK at Old Trafford.
"I believe so, so I can confirm that [he is leaving]," Ole told BT Sport.
"Alexis has had a good time over there [on loan to Inter] and he's a good player, so we wish him all the best."

Earlier in the evening, Inter's CEO Beppe Marotta had tweeted: "We will sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United on a permanent deal.
“We'll announce the deal tomorrow with an official statement.”
Alexis came on as a 70th-minute substitute for Inter as they beat Getafe 2-0 in Milan, to join Solskjaer's men in the Europa League quarter-finals.
Ex-United forward Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring and former Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen grabbed the second goal; another Reds alumni, Ashley Young, played the full 90 minutes for Antonio Conte's side.
