As anticipation builds ahead of the start of the season proper, Old Trafford plays host to 55,000 fans for Manchester United’s final pre-season friendly, against fellow Premier League side Everton.

Supporters can get their hands on our much-loved matchday programme, United Review, either at the game or online.

There’s an enormous variety of content inside our second United Review of the season which you can order to be delivered direct to your door here. As for fans attending the game, the programme will be available to purchase in all of the normal places.

You can read about our opponents, Everton, with detail on their squad, key players, new manager Rafa Benitez and their history. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaks about our recent training camp in Scotland in the manager’s column.

Elsewhere in the programme, we speak to Scott McTominay about the importance of pre-season, his aims for the new campaign and how he’s reflected on last year’s performances. There’s a tribute to Bert Whalley after a blue plaque was unveiled last month to honour our former coach who helped Matt Busby shape his squad.

Six United fans give their take on how the season will pan out, including legendary full-back Denis Irwin, while you can read Paddy Crerand’s latest column as the Scot gives his thoughts on prospective signing Raphael Varane.
