United Women tickets pass another milestone
What are you doing on Sunday?
It’s a massive occasion in the WSL season and it’s also the first time this fixture has been held at the Theatre of Dreams - and our fans are turning up in numbers.
As of Tuesday afternoon, we can confirm that over 40,000 tickets have been sold so far and that is a record for United Women at Old Trafford.
Indeed, Sunday’s game will be the fifth played in M16 and it will surpass the previous record attendance of 30,196 for the visit of Aston Villa in 2022.
With five days to go, there's plenty of time for you to secure your seats and join the 'United We Rise' movement.
Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £7.50 for fans aged under 16 or over 65.
BRING IT ON
Leah Galton scored against City in last season’s derby at the Etihad Stadium and the popular forward is proud that our fan base is set to turn out in such numbers this weekend.
“It’s amazing really,” she says. “Not only do they get to come and watch us perform and play against City – and paint the town red, of course – but it’s an experience. It’s so different to Leigh.
“It echoes and it’s an unbelievable feeling when you score. Hopefully we can go and smash it, and smash that attendance record too.”
