Paul Pogba completes January awards double
Paul Pogba's sensational, matchwinning strike at Fulham has won Manchester United's Goal of the Month prize for January 2021.
Our no.6 came up trumps with 20 minutes to play at Craven Cottage, thrashing an unstoppable, left-footed effort beyond the reach of fellow Frenchman Alphonse Areola and into the back of the net.
That goal, which moved us back to the top of the Premier League and equalled the club record for most consecutive away league matches unbeaten, was the runaway winner of our fans' poll, conducted in our Official App.
All The Angles: Pogba v Fulham
Paul scored a sensational winner at Craven Cottage that we could watch over and over again...
Pogba's howitzer, which you can watch from various viewing points above, gained almost half of your nominations.
Next highest was Bruno Fernandes's FA Cup free-kick to beat Liverpool, while another Pogba goal - this time the volley to win all three points against Burnley at Turf Moor - came third.
Pogba is the second Red to win both Player and Goal awards in the same month during this current season.
Fernandes claimed the November Player title - the fifth of the six he has won during a year at the club - while fans also decided his half-volley versus Istanbul Basaksehir was the pick of the goals that month.
